📅 Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we will drive from Nairobi down into the Great Rift Valley to Lake Naivasha. Arrive at the Lake Naivasha Sopa Resort in time for lunch. In the afternoon, you will take a scenic boat ride on the lake, viewing hippos and fish eagles, before docking at Crescent Island. Here, you will enjoy a guided walking safari, getting up close to grazing zebras, giraffes, waterbucks, and antelopes in a predator-free environment.
Day 2: Lake Naivasha to Lake Nakuru National Park
After breakfast, depart the resort for Lake Nakuru National Park, arriving in good time for a hot lunch at your lodge. In the afternoon, embark on a comprehensive game drive. The lake is famous for its pink flamingos and over 400 species of birds. It is also an important sanctuary for endangered species, offering excellent sightings of black and white rhinos and Rothschild's giraffes. Lions, waterbucks, buffaloes, and baboons are also residents here.

Day 3: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart Lake Nakuru after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to the world-famous Maasai Mara National Reserve. You will arrive at the Mara Sopa Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for your first game drive to introduce you to this vast, game-filled reserve. Return to the lodge for dinner and a relaxing evening.

Day 4: Full Day in the Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe. You will easily spot lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing from the Serengeti, followed by apex predators.
(Optional Activities: A dawn Hot-Air Balloon Safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$450 per person, or a cultural visit to a Maasai village for US$35 per person).

Day 5: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
After breakfast, check out of your lodge by 8:30 AM and depart for a scenic return road transfer back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon, where our driver will drop you off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your homebound flight or at your Nairobi hotel.
