📅 Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Nairobi at 08:00 AM and drive along the scenic floor of the Great Rift Valley to Lake Nakuru National Park. You will arrive in time for lunch at the Sarova Lion Hill Game Camp. The park is Kenya’s first rhino sanctuary and features one of the largest concentrations of black and white rhinoceros in the world. Enjoy an afternoon game drive looking for tree-climbing lions, leopards, flamingos, and diverse plains game hiding in the dense acacia woodlands.
Day 2: Lake Nakuru to Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Enjoy an early breakfast and a brief game drive as you exit the park. We will then drive via the Great Rift Valley to the legendary Maasai Mara, arriving in time for lunch at your luxury camp. At 3:30 PM, head out for an afternoon game drive until dusk, getting your first glimpse of the unrivaled wildlife in the reserve.

Day 3: Full Day in Maasai Mara Game Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five. The Mara offers wildlife in such abundance that you can easily spot lions, hippos, crocodiles, giraffes, zebras, buffaloes, and elephants. If visiting between July and October, you may witness the annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras crossing from the Serengeti, followed closely by apex predators.
(Optional Activities: A dawn Hot-Air Balloon Safari can be arranged for US$450 per person, or a visit to a local Maasai village for US$35 per person).

Day 4: Maasai Mara to Lake Naivasha
After breakfast, we will drive to Lake Naivasha—the highest and purest of the Great Rift Valley lakes, famous for its birdlife and hippos. In the afternoon, you’ll take a scenic boat ride along the lake to Crescent Island. Here, you will enjoy a guided nature walk right next to grazing zebras, giraffes, wildebeests, and waterbucks in a predator-free environment.

Day 5: Lake Naivasha to Amboseli National Park
After a sumptuous breakfast, you’ll depart for Amboseli National Park, which is truly classic Africa. Set in rolling savannah scenery, it is dwarfed by the pink-tinged, snow-capped peak of Mount Kilimanjaro. Arrive at your lodge in time for check-in and a delicious lunch. The afternoon will be spent on a game drive in search of the vast elephant herds and other plains game.

Day 6: Full Day in Amboseli National Park
Enjoy an early breakfast before heading out for a full-day game drive in Amboseli. During the drive, you will have the chance to spot large herds of elephants, lions, cheetahs, giraffes, zebras, and numerous bird species—all set against the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro. A picnic lunch will be enjoyed within the park, surrounded by nature.

Day 7: Amboseli to Tsavo West National Park
After an early breakfast, enjoy a brief morning game drive in Amboseli before departing for Tsavo West National Park (a 1.5 to 2-hour drive). Upon arrival, check into Kilaguni Serena Lodge and have lunch. In the afternoon, embark on a game drive exploring Tsavo West's diverse landscapes, including the Shetani Lava Flow, Mzima Springs, and the stunning Chyulu Hills. The park is renowned for its big tuskers, lions, leopards, and rhinos.

Day 8: Tsavo West to Tsavo East National Park
Start your day with an early morning game drive in Tsavo West as the sun rises. After breakfast, check out and begin your 2.5-hour journey to Tsavo East National Park. Arrive in time for lunch at Satao Camp. In the afternoon, head out to explore Tsavo East, known for its vast open spaces and herds of "red elephants" dusting themselves in the volcanic soil.
Day 9: Tsavo East to Nairobi
On your final day, enjoy a thrilling early morning game drive in Tsavo East, soaking in the last moments of your safari adventure while predators are most active. After breakfast at the camp, begin the 5-hour drive back to Nairobi. You will arrive in the afternoon, where you will be dropped off at your hotel or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport for your onward journey.
