📅 Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Nairobi to Ol Pejeta Conservancy
You will be picked up from your Nairobi hotel after breakfast at around 7:30 AM and depart for the Ol Pejeta Conservancy, situated on the equator between the foothills of the Aberdares and Mount Kenya. Arrive at Sweetwaters Serena Camp in time for lunch. In the afternoon, enjoy a game-viewing drive. The conservancy boasts the largest black rhino sanctuary in East Africa and houses the last remaining Northern White Rhinos in the world. You will also visit the Sweetwaters Chimpanzee Sanctuary, a haven for rescued apes.
(Optional Activities: Guided night game drives, lion tracking, and bush walks can be arranged at an extra cost of US$100 per person).
Day 2: Ol Pejeta to Samburu National Reserve
Enjoy an early morning game drive in Ol Pejeta, returning to the lodge for breakfast. Afterward, depart for the Samburu National Reserve, arriving in time for lunch. In the afternoon, proceed for a game drive. Samburu is fiercely beautiful, with its arid savannahs watered by the Ewaso Ny'iro River. It is home to species only found north of the equator, including the Beisa Oryx and Somali Ostrich, alongside elephants and lions.

Day 3: Full Day in Samburu National Reserve
After breakfast, proceed for a game drive in this lush northern region. The water of the Ewaso Ny'iro River attracts a profusion of game. On this day, you can choose to either have a full-day game drive from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM with a packed lunch served inside the park, or enjoy split morning and evening game drives with a hot lunch back at the lodge.

Day 4: Samburu to Lake Nakuru National Park
Depart Samburu after breakfast and drive south into the Great Rift Valley, arriving at Lake Nakuru National Park in time for lunch. In the afternoon, a game drive is planned. Besides the flamingos that the lake is famous for, there are approximately 400 other species of birds. You will also search for the introduced Rothschild's giraffe, black and white rhinos, lions, buffaloes, and leopards hiding in the acacia woodlands.

Day 5: Lake Nakuru to Lake Bogoria
It's a day of lake exploration! Depart from Lake Nakuru after breakfast and head to Lake Bogoria. The lake is well known for its hot springs and geysers that gush boiling, sulfur-rich water from the ground—known to have therapeutic values. The park is also home to stunning flocks of Lesser and Greater Flamingos that turn the lake shores into a magnificent pink stretch. Enjoy an afternoon game drive to view the flamingos before retiring to your resort.

Day 6: Lake Bogoria to Maasai Mara National Reserve
Depart after breakfast and drive further along the floor of the Rift Valley to the Maasai Mara Game Reserve, arriving at the prestigious Mara Serena Safari Lodge in time for lunch. In the afternoon, head out for a game drive that introduces you to this vast, wildlife-filled reserve.

Day 7: Full Day in Maasai Mara National Reserve
Spend a full day exploring the park in search of the Big Five. The Mara offers wildlife in such variety and abundance that it is difficult to believe. From late June to October, it hosts the spectacular annual migration of millions of wildebeests and zebras from the Serengeti.
(Optional Activities: A dawn Hot Air Balloon Safari can be arranged at an extra cost of US$500 per person, or a visit to a local Maasai village for US$30 per person).

Day 8: Maasai Mara to Nairobi
Head out for an early morning game drive to catch the predators while they are most active. Return to the lodge for a hearty breakfast before departing the Maasai Mara with a final game drive en route to the main Narok road. You will have a chance for a brief stop in Narok before continuing to Nairobi, arriving at around 3:30 PM. You will be dropped off at Jomo Kenyatta International Airport or your Nairobi hotel.
